Current Campaigns - Jennie Edmundson Foundation
The Jennie Edmundson Foundation is the Foundation for Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They help build a bridge between their community and the hospital to enhance the resources that support Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in meeting the health care needs of our community.
Starting in 2019 with a communications review, we have partnered with the Jennie Edmundson Foundation to grow its social footprint by relaunching its Facebook page and launching an Instagram account. We also worked together to revamp their web copy to better share how the Foundation impacts the community and have developed a comprehensive email communications program. We have developed campaign-specific content that has seen the Foundation through two fundraising cycles and continually delivered “business as usual” content to help sustain funding during the pandemic.
"Corrie has helped the Jennie Edmundson Foundation create a sustainable social media program that gives us expanded opportunities to share our impact with our community! Her expertise has allowed us to grow our social program while also remaining true to what makes the Jennie Edmundson Foundation special! Whether it's helping us pivot our content during the ups and downs of COVID or creating content that educates our community about our fundraising needs - Corrie is amazing to work with, adaptable, enthusiastic, and our guide for all things social!" - Tara Slevin, Chief Philanthropy Officer, Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital & Jennie Edmundson Foundation, President.
Behavioral Health Unit Campaign 2021-2022
In 2021, the Jennie Edmundson Foundation launched a new initiative to transform its existing Behavioral Health Unit. Our social messaging not only focused followers on the need for quality mental and behavioral health care in Southwestern Iowa to raise funds for the new unit but also provided information for those in need of help. Talking about mental illness & self-harm can be triggering for many who need help, so the team wanted to ensure that we were providing ways to get those in need help and educating the community.
“Business as Usual” Messaging 2022
Regular or “business as usual” messaging is the backbone of social programs. While many organizations have events and fundraisers that can create messaging opportunities for them at certain times of the year, they can struggle to find things to connect with their community about when the calendar isn’t full. Our “Business as usual” content program for the Jennie Edmundson Foundation focuses on ways that they can continually educate their community about the impact of programs while also providing morale boosts to hospital staff and volunteers. By highlighting staff and volunteers regularly, we can connect with the community and extend our reach by encouraging engagement while continually showing impact.
Women & NewBorns Center - Fundraising Campaign 2020
In 2020, the Jennie Edmundson Foundation raised funds for the Anne Elizabeth Nelson Women and Newborns Center. Our social content focused on translating an in-depth print campaign into digestible content for social, while also providing additional education opportunities about needed services in the area.
